Micropulse TLT is a useful addition to the glaucoma armamentarium. When used with proper surgical technique at energy settings within the boundaries described in this manuscript, MicroPulse TLT is a safe and effective treatment for many types and stages of glaucoma. 

It offers a significant IOP (intraocular pressure) reduction,and as a consequence a reduction in the use of antiglaucoma drops.

The procedure is generally performed under general anesthesia and will take between 15-20 minutes.

There are no specific special considerations before or after the procedure rather than a prescription of antiinflammatory eye drops.
